Welcome to the STEM Probes N' More wiki.

This wiki was designed to help you build background knowledge through simulations, collect data with Vernier sensors, review online challenge resources, and publish findings through on a wiki.

Directions
  1. Click on a numbered "Student" link from the navigation bar on the left. (The red links on this bar are to student pages that do not exist yet.)
  2. Click on the drop-down menu on the page and choose the "STEM Motion Challenge" template to start the new page.
  3. Type your name at the top.
  4. Follow directions on the page to work through the challenge.
  5. Save your page when finished.

This simulation would be used as whole group knowledge is built by manipulating objects to illustrate:
Potential Energy
Kinetic Energy
Gravity
The Key Question in this activity will be, " Does greater potential energy convert into greater kinetic energy?, "
Take what we have learned about kinetic and potential energy to the next level in a design challenge.
